Fashion magazine Marie Claire devotes a one-page photo feature in the June issue to Liza Richardson, the longtime KCRW DJ and music supervisor for movies and TV. The angle is that she also surfs. "By day, a top DJ.; by dawn, a legit surf Betty with a passion for point breaks. One woman's badass extracurricular." Richardson, 47, admits to owning eight boards and wearing "custom Bewet suits."
Also noted: The blog Jezebel looked closely at the Marie Claire image and called a Photoshop foul: her right arm appears gone.
