Another Big Boy bites the dust

bobs-big-boy-head.jpgThe Bob's Big Boy in Torrance is set to close Sept. 3. Cause of death? "A general lack of sales," owner Jim Louder told the Daily Breeze. This particular Bob's has only been open for six years, but it's on the site of a Bob's Big Boy that operated from 1969 to 1995, the paper says. There are only a few Bob's Big Boys left in Southern California, including the landmark in Burbank, but boy, Bob's used to be big here.
