Video: Sometimes it pays to be connected

For his HuffPost Live segment advancing today's space shuttle Endeavour flight over Los Angeles, host Jacob Soboroff got an exclusive guest in studio: His dad, Steve Soboroff, the former candidate for mayor in Los Angeles who's in charge of the move for the California Science Center. They were joined by a NASA official, a curator from the science center and by HuffPost science correspondent Cara Santa Maria.

"I think this is the most meaningful thing to happen to Los Angeles since Staples Center," says the senior Soboroff. "In the next 20 years I believe 40 million people will see this space ship.
