BuzzFeed bureau adds Adam Vary to cover film

hollywood-sign-oh-vdt.jpgThe Los Angeles bureau of BuzzFeed continues to ramp up. Today Richard Rushfield et al are announcing the hire of Adam Vary as senior film reporter. He comes from the Los Angeles bureau of Entertainment Weekly, and also has written for Variety, The Advocate, and Alternative Press magazine. Vary starts January 28. "Audiences talk to each other, and with filmmakers, more than ever through social media, and BuzzFeed is at the center of those conversations," Vary says in a statement through the site. "I am thrilled to be joining Richard, Kate, and the rest of the BuzzFeed team to help cover Hollywood in new, exciting, innovative ways." Kate is chief correspondent Kate Aurthur.
