London in color in 1927 (video)

By Kevin Roderick | May 12, 2013 11:45 PM

london-1927-grab.jpgThis video has been bouncing around the web for a few years, and popped into view again this weekend. It shows street scenes around London in 1927, in a nice soft color reminiscent of an old postcard, but in five minutes of moving images. The footage was shot by British film pioneer Claude Friese-Greene.
