Rupert Murdoch buys Bel-Air vineyard and estate

Media mogul Rupert Murdoch announced via Twitter on Friday that he has bought the Moraga estate on the Bel-Air ridge that faces across the 405 freeway at the Getty Center. It's where Thomas Jones, the former Northrop CEO, has grown grapes on 13 acres and made his Moraga label of Los Angeles wine. Curbed LA said back in February that the estate was listed for $29 million, and posted Murdoch's tweet on Saturday.
