With sadness and a heavy heart we share the passing today of Art Ginsburg - February 19, 1935 to July 24, 2013.

Rest in Peace - May your journey continue.......

To observe a day of mourning for our family and friends Art's Deli will be CLOSED on Friday July 26. We will reopen on Saturday July 27 at 7am.

Art's Delicatessen opened in 1957. Ginsburg turned over management to his children in 2010. Its slogan has always been "every sandwich is a work of Art."

* Added 6:30 p.m. The Jewish Journal talks to Ginsburg's widow and son at the deli.
