Video revisit: McManus & Morgan fine art papers

mcmanus-morgan-papers.jpgBusinesses like McManus & Morgan aren't supposed to last in Los Angeles, especially not in the Westlake district a block from MacArthur Park. But I noticed on Facebook that the purveyor of fine art papers, opened in 1923 by two UCLA students, just celebrated its 90th year. Good reason to re-post this lovely video from 2011 highlighting McManus and Morgan and its neighbor on 7th Street, Aardvark Letterpress — itself a throwback LA business. The film is by Ben Proudfoot.
