New York Times

New York Times website is down, possibly attacked *

The New York Times website has gone dark with only an error message posted. "We are having technical problems." The paper is still posting on Twitter. Fox Business reports that "the corporate and media sites of The New York Times were experiencing a major cyber attack on Wednesday afternoon, according to a source close to the matter."

Someone suggests (on Twitter) that perhaps the NYT should print out its best web stories each day and distribute them to readers on paper, as a backup.

11:25 a.m.: The NYT site looks to be back.
