Evelyn Taft confirms what her fans suspected

On the 10 o'clock news tonight on KCAL, they held the usual weather segment until about 25 minutes in. Then the screen flashed baby pictures of anchors Sharon Tay and Rick Garcia and meteorologist Evelyn Taft. They all laughed a bit, Tay threw over to Taft, and she confirmed that she's pregnant. Almost five months — and yes she knows the sex of the fetus, but isn't talking. Fans have been posting their pregnancy suspicions about Taft for weeks on the CBS LA website and on social media. Taft is the USC alum who came to the duopoly in 2010 from KRON in San Francisco.
