OK, we've all seen a lot of mountain lion photos and video from the local mountains in the past couple of years. So the bar for getting us to pay attention keeps being raised. This new batch meets the test. The cougar trackers at the Santa Monica National Recreation Center have posted photographs of a mountain lion family feasting on a mule deer. The lions are the female P-13 and her cubs P-28 (female) and P-30 (male.) These are different cougars than the one that took down a deer on Mulholland Highway last year or the cubs that were recently tagged by the National Park Service.
