Mayor saddles up in Chatsworth like the mayors before him

Mayor Eric Garcetti rode on a Chatsworth trail ride with other electeds this weekend — it's kind of a tradition for LA City Hall politicians. After the ride through the Stoney Point area the mayor posed, above, with City Council members Mitch Englander, Nury Martinez and Tom LaBonge. Englander organized the ride in his West Valley district. The photos come from Garcetti's Facebook page.

You might remember Garcetti and Wendy Greuel both (separately) taking the wagon train out to Chatsworth before the mayoral race heated up last year. Who can forget Antonio Villaraigosa on horseback too. Yee haw.

Garcetti, right, with Englander.

Hopalong LaBonge takes a bow.
