Linda Deutsch roast is tonight

linda-deutsch-fb.jpgRetired Associated Press court reporter Linda Deutsch is being feted tonight as a fundraiser for the Greater Los Angeles chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. Proceeds will benefit the SPJ's chapter programs including scholarships and legal defense.

Among the scheduled roasters are Larry King, Loyola Law School Professor Laurie Levenson, former CBS news writer/producer Roberta Hollander and TV journalists Ana Garcia and Dorothy Lucey. Lawyer Anthony Brooklier and deputy district attorney Rob Knowles are also expected to play a role. It's at the Omni Hotel on Bunker Hill, cocktails at 6 p.m., dinner and festivities at 7 p.m.
