Du-Par's

Love for Du-Par's, despite what others say...

I suspect Colleen Cuisine of snobbery, if disdain for a coffee shop qualifies as such. I further suspect her of not being from L.A.. The charm of Du-Par’s has always been lukewarm coffee, lousy tuna melts, good old lousy French toast (and just passable pies.). . .The greatest Du-Par’s tragedy remains the midnight (almost literally, I think) bulldozing of the landmark restaurant in Thousand Oaks, along with its gorgeous stand of sheltering oak trees.

Thanks.
