Attention Randy Harvey

The other day on the “Roggin and Simers" morning radio gabfest on KLAC, after an interview with Game of Shadows authors Mark Fainaru-Wada and Lance Williams, host Fred Roggin asked co-host and L.A. Times Sports Columnist T.J. Simers if he read the book. Simers admitted he had NOT read Game of Shadows. I like Simers’ column, but it is appalling that a sports columnist (albeit a notes columnist) at one of the premier sports sections in the United States has not read one of the most historically important sports books of our time. Randy Harvey, please give T.J. a few days off, so he can read the book and gather intelligent background on the subject matter for future columns. In fact, pass it around, until your entire staff has read it.
