DiFi's out, Lopez is game

Sen. Dianne Feinstein says she won't run in a recall race with Gray Davis on the ballot, which may be dumb tactics by the Democrats but it's OK with L.A. Times columnist Steve Lopez. He says he's in and his bumper stickers are ready to go: "I May Be Gray, but I'm No Davis." Lopez is willing to put it all on the line: "Unfortunately, I don't have $100 million to play with. But I can probably scrape together $3,500."
