Freelancers' tax amnesty ends Monday

| 1 TrackBack

June 30 is the last day that writers and other freelancers swept up in the city of Los Angeles' aggressive move to collect business taxes can file for amnesty. The Writers Guild of America, West site has details updated today.

While we're visiting the WGA...their Website of the Week belongs to Roger Avary, the writer-director of Rules of Attraction and Killing Zoe (and co-writer on Pulp Fiction) who blogs here from L.A. and, currently, Paris. "His blog is a jolt of pure adrenaline," the guild's site says....Last WGA note: In a comment posted on my recent Roger Simon item, Ross Johnson writes that the WGA site will profile Simon on July 2. That's the same day as Simon's book party at Dutton's Brentwood.
