Gray used to like tech

Speaking of ironies, let's consider the continuing one that confronts op-ed writer Nick Schulz. He's editor of the libertarian, government-can't-ever-do-anything-right TechCentralStation.com, "Where Free Markets Meet Technology."
Nick's whole operation rests on the Web, on technology developed, nourished, and perfected by the government. Which then did just what it should have done, stepped aside and turn it over to the private sector. A benevolent circumstance you will not hear of on Nick's site.
However, I love Nick's site. First, the interface is slick. Second, Where else would feature as host and economic pundit James K. Glassman, immortal as the co-author of "36,000 Dow: The New Strategy for Profiting form the Coming Rise in the Stock Market" (Times Books, Sept 1999)? (Amazon has a used copy for 74 cents, should you wish to score some tips).
You may wonder: Has the non-appearance of a 36,000 Dow dampened Glassman's vigor or vehemence in telling people where the economy is going and what government should do and not do? You don't know James.
