Register visits the LAT's feud in OC

Greg Hardesty in The Register gives a once-over to the ongoing feud between Orange County DA Tony Rackauckas and the L.A. Times. The prosecutor stopped talking to all reporters at the Times, citing what he called unfair and inaccurate coverage, and told his staff to stop cooperating with the paper too. "'I see (the Times' coverage) as a continuing problem, and I'm simply exercising my right not to talk to them,' Rackauckas said. 'They're not careful to print the truth, as far as I'm concerned.'" The Register notes that it too has been the object of such blackballing, by other aggrieved subjects of news stories.
