'Jack Dunphy' sees OT in his future

Jack Dunphy, the cyber pseudonym of the LAPD cop who writes provocative missives for National Review Online, predicts a riot if a jury acquits the Inglewood officer caught roughing up a handcuffed teenager on video. In Dunphy's view, you must be in "the anti-cop crowd" to think the officer crossed the line. He doesn't address the fellow officer charged with lying on his report. He nails it that the testimony seems weak at best, but he's a bit too glib for my taste about the prospects of a riot:

All that furniture heisted in the '92 Rodney King riots is bound to be a bit threadbare by now, so some people may be looking forward to a shopping spree, one for which the bill never comes. The jury may get the case as soon as next week. Look for me at Florence and Normandie.
