Roger L. Simon takes questions

At the Writers Guild of America website, Ross Johnson's interview with L.A. author-blogger-screenwriter Roger L. Simon contains this painful admission: Simon lost $1 million of his own scratch on an indie film starring Gina Gershon that went straight to video. Thanks to Roger, who I have never met, for including L.A. Observed on his short list of favored blogs. On Simon's own blog right now he describes how his recent slide toward the political right -- at least in regard to the Iraq war -- has cost him some friends.

They think I have deserted la causa. I am not the radical-liberal I used to be. Perhaps they are right to some extent. I could make my explanations, but they are entitled to their opinion. Still, it hurts.
