Valleywood to get a Walk of Fame

It's OK to place granite tiles in the sidewalk along Ventura Boulevard with the names of stars who strutted their stuff at Studio City's lone studio, the city cultural heritage commission ruled. That studio began as Mack Sennett in the 1920s, morphed into Republic Pictures and now is CBS Studio Center. The figures who worked there include W.C. Fields, John Wayne, Gene Autry, Roy Rogers and Alfred Hitchcock.
