Hollywood, that conservative town
Tim Rutten takes on and pretty much destroys the myth of the liberal Hollywood monolith, and along the way quotes the author-blogger Roger L. Simon at some length [see next post below] and gives a little history reminder of when Upton Sinclair crossed the studio bosses.

I've been working on a book about movie and TV producers and have interviewed about 100. Fewer than five were conservative.
The overwhelming number of actors are left of center.
Corporate suits are more evenly distributed.
