Taking the campaign to Google

If you search on Google for recall candidate Garret Gruener, a sponsored link comes up for the Gruener for Governor campaign: "Cut through the clutter. Restore the California Dream." Gruener is the venture capitalist who co-founded Ask Jeeves, and the Google ad is part of his intention to run the "most aggressive Internet campaign of all time," reports former Sacto Bee staffer David Jensen at The Condor.

The only true way to promote oneself is through blogging and getting numerous hits for no reason. That means popularity on the 'net.
