Lasica gets a book deal

The book deals on Publishers Lunch this week include a sale by J. D. Lasica, a senior editor at USC's Online Journalism Review who blogs his musings on New Media. His book, Darknet: Remixing the Future of Entertainment, is said to "go behind the scenes of the escalating war between entertainment companies and the technology wizards who download, remix, and distribute their products." Wiley will publish.
