'Can Never Be a Conservative'

Journalist RiShawn Biddle throws off the gloves on his blog and declares, "Why I Can Never Be a Conservative (Ever Again)." It's complicated, but here's a snippet:

As Berlau notes, the terrorists involved in the Sept. 11 massacres wouldn't have been caught thanks to Patriot or other transaction regulations; instead they had only overstayed their welcome in this country according to the terms of their Visas.

As for the President's remarks on gay marriage? Don't get me started--and I'm not even a homosexual. Should "sacred" wedded bliss only be enjoyed by heterosexuals alone? According to Britney Spears, it isn't that sacred.
