Marrero up at La Opinión

Pilar Marrero, political editor and columnist at La Opinión, has been promoted to oversee the paper's metro coverage. As Metropolitan News Editor, she oversees a staff of 15 reporters and editors. Marrero also co-hosts "Nuestra Voz" in Spanish on KPFK (90.7 FM) and writes for the BBC World Service and Pacific News Service, the news release says.
