Variety drops porn blog

Based on an anonymous tip, I dropped in on Variety.com's weblog page and found that "The Porning Report" is history. "Coverage of the porn industry's move to mainstream" had been written by Frank Meyer, associate editor for AVN Online. In its place is an editor's note posted this morning:

This Is Your Final Porning

The Porning Report is no longer being updated. Please send comments to varietyeditors@reedbusiness.com. We encourage you to check out Variety's other blogs at http://weblogs.variety.com/. Thank you for reading.

Three other blogs remain. Earlier: Variety adds blogs
