TextMaria Sharapova the rising tennis star, that is. Coming off her victory over Serena Williams at Wimbledon, the 17-year-old has decided to drop out of next week's JPMorgan Chase Open in Carson. She will appear in Newport Beach on Wednesday, however, in a World Team Tennis match as a member of the Breakers. If you just have to see a pretty young Russian play in the Carson tournament, Anna Kournikova will apparently be there. The difference being, of course, that one is a Grand Slam champion while the other is...not.
