Blogging interrupted...*

My host, Total Choice Hosting, has responded nicely with a detailed explanation of yesterday's interruption. It was due to an overload on the servers, probably from the vulnerabilities of the old version of Movable Type I'm still using. So that will be fixed soon.

Today's "interruption" will have more to do with it being opening day at the stadium, and the suggestion of friends that we go do a little field reporting...this could take many innings, er, I mean hours.

* Report from the field: The Dodgers trailed 5-zip before coming to bat and at various times were down 5-2, 5-3, 8-3 and 8-5. But they scored four in the ninth off the Giants' star closer, Armando Benitez, to win 9-8. The dramatic finish came on a single-plus-error by Milton Bradley, who was cheered all day and got mobbed by teammates after his game winner, which followed clutch walks worked by Drew and Kent. Stadium renovations look great — more intimate, with the fronts of the dugouts exposed, so that both managers are visible to the entire crowd. Dodger Dogs are $4 and $4.75 this year, premium beer $8.
