Bonds indictment "as soon as next week' *

BondsSlugger Barry Bonds' lawyers are preparing for the San Francisco Giant to be indicted in federal court as soon as next week. The charges could be perjury or tax evasion. Bonds has 720 major league home runs, thirty-five behind all-time leader Henry Aaron. The Giants are currently one game behind the Dodgers in the National League West.

Update: And now they aren't expecting an indictment. Prepared yes, expecting no.
