AB 1381 coverage
Romer sounds a conciliatory note, though the LAUSD board is still talking about suing. Mark Ridley-Thomas abstained on the vote, and Jerome Horton voted aye despite thinking the bill is unconstitutional. Gloria Romero preceded the vote, but the stories don't get at what was promised to get aye votes (or unsuccessfully offered to the no votes.)
