AEG's great hope

But here, David Beckham will do as a new media face for American soccer as brought to you by the folks at Anschutz Entertainment Group. And he has that tabloid-fodder wife. Daily Telegraph sports writer Chris Davies told Sky News: "The LA lifestyle would suit Posh but (for a player) it's an elephant's graveyard. If you go there you might as well sign off and claim your pension." SoCal Sports Observed and LA Biz Observed were all over it this morning (and back in December.)
