Broad beating Geffen here at least

Take the surveyEli Broad has opened up a bigger lead on David Geffen as LA Observed readers' most likely (or preferred?) buyer of the L.A. Times. Ron Burkle runs a distant third; in fact, there are more votes for Hal Fishman giving up the anchor chair at KTLA, Bob Eubanks being retired to pasture and Jill Stewart becoming editor of the LA Weekly.

You can cast your vote for the Top L.A. Media Story of 2007 when you take the quick LA Observed visitor survey. It will really help us out to get your thoughts on the site's future. On the first day more than 450 readers gave their honest opinions and some extremely helpful suggestions. I'll report on the findings when the survey closes.
