LA Observed on KCRW

KCRW has invited me to join the roster of commentators that air in the afternoons during NPR's "All Things Considered." General manager Ruth Seymour, who has been mentioned here more than a few times through the years — and who no doubt will be again — took me to lunch and promised a hands-off relationship (so long as I don't try to slip in any f-words.) So what the heck, we'll give it a try. The LA Observed slot is Fridays at 4:44 pm, starting June 1, over the air at 89.9 FM and on the web at KCRW.com. I'll talk about a local story or two from the week and maybe break a little news sometimes.

Also on the air: Mark Lacter of LA Biz Observed talks about business stories every Tuesday morning on KPCC (89.3 FM).
