Tom Philp, who won a Pulizer Prize for the Sacramento Bee in 2005, will become an "executive strategist" with the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California. The Bee will miss him, says the memo. An associate editor, his Pulitzer winning editorials called for the restoration of Yosemite’s submerged Hetch Hetchy Valley. He also wrote the paper's water blog.
