No iPhone for Brits

ElsworthCatherine Elsworth, who holds down the Silver Lake bureau for the Daily Telegraph, would really like to test drive the new iPhone. But she was told by Apple that only American reporters can get in on that deal. Calamity, she claims on her foreign correspondent's blog.

Foreigners must wait until the heavenly-looking slice of technology is released in their own country. In my case, this is not until the end of the year.

This is awful. I feel like a tweenager being told I can’t have my ears pierced until I’m 13 while the lobes of all my peers glint with bling.

Readers in the U.K. and elsewhere also get her take on the troubles at the King-Harbor emergency room.
