Jon Lauritzen, ex-LAUSD board member was 68
Lauritzen died today of a brain tumor, according to the Board of Education and Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. He lost his reelection campaign for the board earlier this year. Lauritzen had been a teacher at Columbus Middle School and Canoga Park High in the Valley. Daily News, bio. Late add: LAT obit
