Science Guy seeks protection from ex-wife *

Bill Nye "The Science Guy," who lives in Studio City, wants a restraining order to protect himself from his former wife, Blair Tindall, author of Mozart in the Jungle: Sex, Drugs and Classical Music. He claims she broke into his garden at night and tainted it with toxic herbicide. She doesn't deny it, responding in the court papers that it was "foolish, sophomoric act of poor judgment" brought on by a series of personal and family problems. The couple has been married all of a year and change.

* Or maybe they were never married: Tindall says in court documents their marriage was invalid. The Smoking Gun
