Big Kahuna, gone again

Dear Kevin,

So you've decided to work for a few days from the Maui bureau of LAO? Excellent move. Overnight temps here in SoCal have dropped to a brutal 6 degrees (OK, that's Celsius) and the surf report looks pretty dull. Over in Haiku, meanwhile, you've got a frog war making front page news. Please know that Native Intelligence contributors stand by, bags packed, to help with that fast-breaking story.

As ever, I'm thrilled to lend a hand here at home. (Posting may be light as I'm also traveling a bit.) So relax, stay hydrated with plenty of Mai Tais, and rest assured - you've left LAO in culpable capable hands.

Aloha!

Veronique
