The novelist and Los Angeles Times Op-Ed columnist shows up today on the New York Times' books blog, in a weekly feature that posts "a playlist of songs from a writer or some other kind of book-world personage." On her top 10 list, the last spot goes to "Black Dog" by Led Zeppelin: "Because nothing cures road rage like a 'steady rollin' woman."
