LA Weekly archives "in the parking lot"

An email going around from an LA Weekly staffer says someone at the paper has decided to throw out most of the printed copies of the paper.

Folks,

Believe it or not, the Weekly is about to destroy all but two copies of each issue. The remaining issues are currently in the parking lot; after a few days, they will be tossed! If you want to come and sort through them, now's the time. Please don't ask me questions about this -- call the main number (465-9909) and talk to Operations (which includes whoever answers the phone
during the day until about 4, when the hired guard takes over).

And pass the word - quickly.

Also, anyone know any angels who could take the whole lot and store it???
