Lakers cling to life

The Lakers gave back a couple of big leads, but held on to force game 6 back in Boston. It was closer than the final score of 103-98 suggests. The ABC commentators proclaimed the Lakers' defensive play simply brutal — "it certainly was ugly at times" — but at least the Celtics didn't clinch here. The Lakers players gave a nice salute to the Staples Center fans after the season's final game in Los Angeles.
