The Contra Costa Times has cut its coverage of religion and ethics along with nearly 30 other beats. Reach Rebecca Rosen-Lum at xxxxxxx@hotmail.com.

Rosen-Lum was laid off after being active in the Bay Area News Group-East Bay Unit of the Media Workers Guild, which won a union vote up there.
