No more ButtsAn especially persnickety bunch of Escondido Canyon residents has won the fight to change the name of DeButts Terrace because, as Veronique de Turenne says at Here in Malibu, they were "embarrassed that their street name contained the syllable 'butt.'" I'm serious, or rather they were. In a compromise, the city of Malibu renamed the street Murphy Way and there is a new plaque remembering the deButts family that used to own the canyon.
