Manny taken for x-rays

mannyjg120.jpgManny Ramirez was hit on the left hand by a pitch early in tonight's game at Dodger Stadium. He shook the hand and flexed his fingers for a few minutes, then left the game. Reports are he was getting precautionary x-rays. [Update from Scully: Came back negative, he's day-to-day. Tomorrow's game is Manny bobble-head night, a sell-out.]

In the McCourt box: Mayor Villaraigosa, Lu Parker and USC football coach Pete Carroll, according to an embedded informant.
