With two out in the 8th inning, after the Dodgers scored their 17th run against Milwakuee pitchers, Vin Scully sighed and said, "You know, you would really like to see thing thing end." Finally it did, 14 minutes later — the most runs scored by the Dodgers at home in 20 years. But fans didn't see it in Port Hueneme, apparently. An LA Observed reader emails that his local cable company switched from the game to "Big Brother" on Channel 9.
Speaking of: Time Warner Cable, which blew that big Dodgers moment on July 22, has launched a newsroom website.
