NYT restaurant critic: Sam Sifton

samsifton.jpgCurrently the culture editor, Sifton will replace Frank Bruni as the main restaurant critic at the New York Times — a job that still has a lot of national influence in the food and media worlds. Unlike past critics who tried to remain somewhat anonymous, the New York Observer observes that there are plenty of pictures of Sifton around.
