Meet James Goldstein (again *)

jamesgoldstein.jpgChances are you have seen James Goldstein around town — and how could you miss him and his python cowboy hat? He shows up at fashion events and courtside at Lakers games. Style Section L.A. was curious to find out who he is, asking "how many long-haired, older guys do you know who dress in head-to-toe Galliano?" We don't find out much, not even where he's building his nightclub-in-a-house, but now there's a name to put with the face.

Turns out, the real estate mogul — and 24-7 party person — is constantly updating his sprawling bachelor pad, designed by modern architect John Lautner, to reflect the latest trends in home design.

Previous meeting: I posted in 2007 about Goldstein's website and a story in the Daily Breeze by Gene Maddaus.
