The sports giant said back in July it was coming to Los Angeles with a local news website, and now we know it will launch Dec. 21. "ESPN's launch of its Los Angeles website will lead into its Christmas Day basketball game doubleheader, which kicks off with a broadcast of a Los Angeles Lakers game," Reuters reports today. I'm told the newsroom at L.A. Live is impressively large.
